What does a Graduate Recruiter do?
This is a unique position at FDM where you will be with working with our UK and APAC recruitment team. You will be responsible for helping graduates bridge the gap between university and the perfect career each year. We work with students still studying, recent graduates and graduates who haven’t found the right place to launch their career yet. You will cover the end-to-end recruitment process, from attracting candidates to onboarding them. You will engage, prepare and guide graduates to get on the career ladder and achieve a huge career milestone.
This is an exciting opportunity that’s responsible for recruiting graduates from UK universities who will either train on our Graduate Programme in either China, Hong Kong, Singapore or the UK! Due to the diverse nature of where your candidates might be eventually based it is essential to be able to speak Mandarin.
You will be responsible for phone screening candidates, arranging formal interviews with internal stakeholders for the graduates and managing candidate objections. In addition to the day to day recruitment, you will also be responsible for attending university events with the Senior Graduate Recruiter who you would work closely with.
• Full recruitment cycle from attraction to hire • Building candidate relationships and providing excellent candidate care • Sourcing, emailing and arranging meetings with prospective candidates • Organising and running networking events • Learning the FDM Model and key USPs to build successful candidate relationships • Liaising with other areas of the business including Academy, Business Development Managers and Sales Managers • Providing support to our in-house trainees throughout their graduate programme experience
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience • Mandarin speaker, Cantonese is advantageous • Committed and ambitious individuals with a thirst to learn and develop • Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work under pressure • Self-motivated and enthusiastic • Strong organisational skills • Commercially aware and target-oriented • Driven to deliver results beyond expectations
Previous experience in recruitment is beneficial but more important is the right attitude and a motivation to succeed.
