About the Role

  • Support and lead onboarding, training and development of new recruitment team members for Austin, TX
  • Report to the US Recruitment Manager responsible for delivering an exceptional applicant experience
  • Support delivery on US Recruitment Team and individual Targets
  • Lead and contribute to special projects as identified
  • Conduct full cycle graduate recruitment activity (screening applications, interviews and assessment centers)
  • Co-ordinate and facilitate internal events
  • Build relationships with successful candidates to ensure the end to end recruitment process is successfully concluded
  • Run recruitment drives for additional recruitment team members when required
  • Provide expert recruitment advice to candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Ascertain innovative ways to identify graduate talent and build brand awareness
  • Assessment process – contribute to remote and in-house assessment center activity 
  • Internal stakeholders - work with colleagues in Sales, Marketing, HR and the Academy to ensure that recruitment processes and activity feeds into the wider business requirements.
  • Internal relationships – work closely with US University Partnership Manager in brand building in across Uni. Partners in the TX and surrounding regions
  • Review current Recruitment policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and implement changes to existing processes to promote forward thinking and growth
  • Oversee the assessment process from application through to assessment. Adapt and develop this process in line with market trends    University Partnership
  • Taking direction and guidance from the US UP Manager this person will be the lead on strategic development and contributing the to university strategy in order to identify key targets for recruitment.
  • Stakeholder management - establish and develop university partnerships in the region to increase the number of preferred FDM suppliers and hires from each School.
  • Event coordination – plan and facilitate university related recruitment events in region, including job fairs, corporate workshops, hackathons and networking sessions on behalf of FDM.
  • Recruitment data - maintain relevant reporting metrics for university activities reviewing effectiveness of all university activities.
  • Internal relationships - liaise with US & CA UP Managers in New York and Toronto to ensure joined up approach and share good practice.
  • External professional bodies – contribute to appropriate professional networks. such as NACE, representing FDM across the sector.

About You  

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent time management and proven experience of managing a large volume of candidates successfully
  • Effective verbal and written professional communication; professional and outgoing approach; ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders; confidence when delivering presentations.
  • Team player and able to use own initiative.
  • Strong knowledge of various social media platforms and experience creating engaging content to attract and engage future talent
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking, business judgment and credibility
  • Confident attitude with drive to achieve.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrate initiative and innovation and to complete projects effectively and on time.
  • Dedicated to career progression within FDM.
  • Excellent time management and punctuality.
  • Demonstrate experience of working under pressure and achieve targets.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office packages and willingness to learn new technology skills as required.

  • Ideally this person will have previous experience delivering results in a recruitment role and lead responsibilities over a team or project at FDM or prior company
