Scrum Master
London

The Role:

We are looking for someone to drive execution on Agile teams, provide the guidance and thought leadership that will build Agile capability across the organization. Your client-facing responsibilities will include the support of deployed FDM Consultants in client projects and leading them to high performance.

Location: London based. Full-time, flexi-working with a minimum 3 days in the office.

Responsibilities:

To our Clients:

  • Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of the Scrum Framework, Agile Values and Principles along with the practical techniques such as estimating/sizing, planning, forecasting, reporting, conflict resolution and facilitation – be known as a go to person.
  • Ability to lead, plan, execute and evaluate project activities to ensure completion of initiatives, contributing to team’s direction and function; providing advice to the team and delivery leadership
  • Demonstrates adaptability, flexibility and creativity in their approach to stakeholder engagement and work to support the Agile transformation agenda
  • Knowledge of current and emerging agile industry trends and best practices and internal or external business issues to improve team efficiency

  • Drive continuous improvement as a change agent, engaging stakeholders to identify business problems and create scalable solutions that adapt the Agile process and drive productivity throughout the project lifecycle
  • Fostering an environment of openness, honesty and collaboration both within the team and the wider organisation

Governance of the Pod Incubator Programme.

  • Facilitating team start up
  • Helping the Product Owner in goal setting, road-mapping, product backlog creation and refinement.
  • Facilitate Sprint planning, sprint backlog refinement, creating user stories with the INVEST model and setting Sprint goals.
  • Running daily Scrums and empowering the Developers to assume accountability for these as the team matures.
  • Supporting Junior Scrum Masters
  • Facilitate Retrospective events and implementing process improvements.
  • Ensuring the team has all the necessary competencies to operate as a self-managing, high performing team to achieve goals in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

  • Certified Scrum Master and 3+ years Scrum Master experience
  • At least 5+ years’ experience in an Agile delivery environment
