We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and self-motivated individual to join our well-established People Team. 

The role is to support our engagement and culture journey, specifically within the UK, as we further develop our ability to be a great place to work and to help to continue to build on our strengths as a successful people led company, through events, wellbeing strategies and rewards and recognition programmes.

About you
You are someone who loves meeting and working with people from various backgrounds and experiences - you are someone who enjoys social engagement. 
You are detail-orientated, creative, collaborative, a solid communicator and passionate about creating an exciting place to work. 
You have the confidence to support key stakeholders across the wider team and are someone who has experience in building positive relationships.

You will have previous involvement in working in events, administrative or customer service role and have experience in managing a wide variety of activities, multi-tasking and delivering to tight deadlines. 
You will have experience utilising data to help produce meaningful initiatives that support the overall engagement and culture journey within FDM.

About the role

  • Working with the People Engagement Lead you will support current engagement programmes, including onboarding and recognition, to ensure employee experience is at its best
  • Utilise feedback survey data to help to continue to build out engagement.
  • Facilitate in-house employee inductions / culture check ins ensuring each employee receives a great onboarding journey
  • Manage and maintain engagement, recognition, and wellbeing mail inboxes


  • Help promote an open culture understanding of employee voice through surveys, listening sessions, culture inquiry, focus groups, leadership communications and other means.
  • Work with the wider People Team to help to support the implementation of a clear wellbeing strategies.
  • Support D&I, L&D and Employee Network communications, events, and promotion


  • Working in collaboration with the Marketing & Communication teams to manage the UK wide annual events calendar
  • Develop, plan, and deliver internal events
  • Liaising with external suppliers to uplift our engagement offerings.
  • Budget management, including cost approvals, supplier resourcing and onboarding.
