Technical Trainer Programme- TechOps, UK
United Kingdom

About You
We are looking for talented technical practitioners with 2+ years’ experience who are seeking to develop their skills in TechOps.  Already on an upward trajectory, you are likely to be recognised by your peers as a leader and communicator who is drawn to the idea of helping others grow their talents and capabilities in the same way as you have grown you own.

About Our Company
FDM Group is a multi-award winning FTSE250 global professional services provider. We recruit the best Graduates, Returners, and Ex-Military professionals in order to turn them into motivated and self-actualising IT and business consultants ready to add value to our 200+ large and well recognised clients world-wide.

FDM Global Academy trains our new recruits in contemporary high-demand working practices our clients especially value.  Rather than teaching textbook theory, our training is highly experiential; delivered by seasoned consultants with significant time served in their discipline.  We believe our approach is unique to us; blending various learning styles and media, we deliver realistic training scenarios requiring a mix of remote working and time in the office too, very much mimicking contemporary working practices in a modern business environment.

About the Role

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to upskill and grow their technical capabilities by joining our training team to become a TechOps Trainer.  After a period of formal training to build up your expertise as well as appropriate people skills, the role will involve training our pool of talented graduates to succeed as TechOps Consultants.  Based at either of our Glasgow, London or Leeds Academies you will be working as part of a global team of exceptional individuals nurturing the next generation of IT specialists.  Commercial training experience along with agile delivery approaches and relevant professional qualifications are desirable but not essential; it’s what you add that counts, everything else we can provide for the right candidate.

We are looking for a two year commitment.  After this time you may choose to continue as a substantive TechOps trainer as part of our Global Academy, or become a TechOps consultant working for one or more of our prestigious clients.
