The Role

The Client Marketing Manager will have demonstrable experience in developing integrated marketing campaigns that drive MQL/SQL for the sales team, with a results-driven approach to pipeline generation. You will be expected to develop and execute the B2B marketing strategy for EMEA and take ownership of lead generation initiatives by coming up with varied and creative ways to engage our clients across different sectors. You will have the exciting opportunity to build out your own team, mentoring junior colleagues and helping to shape B2B Marketing into a value driven department.

A key part of the role will focus on Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and demand generation strategies where you will work closely with the B2B and wider Marketing team to deliver excellent campaigns that nurture the pipeline and deliver great quality leads to the Sales team that result in ROI. The campaigns will involve developing and promoting content (video and written) for all stages of the sales funnel aligned to key personas, working closely with the global creative and digital teams.  

You will require an understanding of and be experienced in the use of analytical tools and techniques, you will be confident with presenting campaign plans and outcomes to demonstrate ROI to a variety of key stakeholders. You will need to be an excellent communicator and confident as you will be building working relationships with multiple stakeholders both within and outside of the business, including board level stakeholders.

Responsibilities 

  • Work with the sales team to develop the customer journey map and continue developing Ideal Customer Profiles, Personas and the client value proposition 
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring Marketing and Sales alignment 
  • Develop and deliver a successful customer acquisition strategy together with the support of the wider Marketing and Sales team. 
  • Mentoring junior colleagues so that they can develop their capability and support activities 
  • Responsible for end-to-end campaign management 
  • Work with the Digital Marketing team and Creative Specialists to create and deliver successful demand generation campaigns including ABM 1:Few 
  • Create integrated marketing campaigns which may include brand advertising, event, social media, email and printed collateral   
  • Strategic and creative brief writing, ensuring they meet the commercial objectives set by internal sales stakeholders 
  • Liaising and briefing internal creative teams, assessing the creative output, directing the creative to ensure commercial objectives are met through the production and distribution of work  
  • Develop and manage events (virtual and in-person) that engage our client base including reporting on ROI 
  • Continuously update the website working with the content, digital and B2B team 
  • Identify and develop partnerships and sponsorship opportunities that will build FDM’s brand 
  • Work with the social team on creating engaging social campaigns that creates brand awareness and attracts leads  
  • Responsible for campaign budgets, measure and evaluate campaigns to include ROI and continual improvement, prepared to communicate this regularly to management 
  • Support the wider management team to ensure budgets are met and resource planning for campaigns are implemented 
  • Ensure continuous market and audience research for the target audience is conducted  


Criteria 

  • Over 5 years of B2B marketing or demand generation marketing experience 
  • Proven ability to develop and manage successful end to end campaigns  
  • Demonstrated success with event and project management  
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofing skills 
  • Experience identifying beneficial sponsorship opportunities and developing partnerships 
  • A good working knowledge of SEO, CRO and paid media techniques  
  • Demonstrable experience with financial planning and budget management 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and juggle different priorities and tasks 
  • Experienced in analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics (desirable) 
  • A good working knowledge of SEO, CRO and paid media techniques (desirable)
