The Role 

FDM is currently seeking a Regional Recruitment Manager in Glasgow to join our UK Graduate Recruitment management team and lead our recruitment teams based in Glasgow and Leeds. 
Reporting to the UK Graduate Talent Attraction Manager and working as part of the UK Graduate Recruitment Management team, the key responsibilities of this role are: management and leadership of the recruitment teams in Leeds and Glasgow and ensuring that FDM achieve recruitment targets both within the region and across the UK.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Line manage the Graduate Recruitment Teams based in both the Leeds and Glasgow offices, including our expanding Leeds Hub recruitment team.
  • Liaise with other recruiters and managers within the UK Recruitment team
  • Responsible for ensuring that regional graduate recruitment targets are achieved in the north and contribute to overall UK graduate recruitment targets.
  • Manage training and reviews for the Regional Recruitment Team.
  • Review and assess incoming applications to the Graduate Programme where necessary.
  • Run recruitment drives for additional recruitment team members when required.
  • Facilitate and run assessment days, and work alongside the Assessment Centre Coordinators to coordinate regional assessment days.
  • Co-ordinate attraction and onboarding events for upcoming start dates
  • Establish, build and grow relationships with internal FDM staff through effective communication, consistency and the provision of a highly professional service
  • Complete any other work as required by the management team
  • Build relationships with successful candidates to ensure the end to end recruitment process is successfully concluded
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the FDM business model.

    Essential criteria
  • Educated to degree level (or relevant work experience)
  • 3+ years’ experience (ideally in a team lead role or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced and knowledge in the graduate recruitment market
  • Excellent time management abilities
  • Demonstrable history of hitting targets
  • Professional and outgoing approach
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Confident and fully IT literate
  • Extensive administration abilities
