The Role 

The focus of this role will be to support the People Team with all aspects of administration in a timely manner to ensure our requirements are met. A high level of efficiency and organisation will be needed as we are a high-volume recruiter for IT graduates, Ex-Forces and Returners. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Facilitate administration throughout all stages of the employee lifecycle – including sending Offer Letters, contracts, New Joiner Information, supporting change processes and off-boarding for Leavers 
  • Create employee records, update information on HRIS and ensure personal files are up to date in line with records retention policies 
  • Collate data and report on Operational Activity for the Head of People, CEO and other stakeholders 
  • Be a first point of contact for employees to answer their queries through a shared Mailbox – support 
  • Assigning tasks to other team members and the implementation of Service Now for Inbox 
  • Ensure data integrity by performing regular system audits and housekeeping 
  • Assist with review and approval of absence requests & checking these are in line with internal policy 
  • Support the monthly reconciliation of Time & Attendance data 
  • Provide information for payroll on joiners, movers, increases, leavers etc 
  • Conduct inductions and presentations to prepare consultants on their first placement 
  • Support the wider People Team with ongoing projects to improve operational efficiency, implement new systems and ways of working 
  • Carry out ad hoc duties to support the People team 

Essential Criteria 

  • Completed two years of a four-year sandwich degree in Human Resources 
  • Effective organisation skills with ability to prioritise 
  • Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy 
  • Works well in a team, but capable of using on own initiative 
  • Adaptable and flexible 
  • Self-motivated and confident 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Business focused with strong commercial acumen 
  • Competence with MS 365 Office applications 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality 
  • Ability to work to exacting deadlines

  • Aspiration to work in Human Resources
